SAVE DARFUR CANADA: FUNDING INFORMATION

A special thank you to our most generous donors.
We received a very generous start-up grant and six month fund matching opportunity from the American Save Darfur Coalition in early 2007, without which we could not have started the organization.

Several noteworthy groups have done considerable fundraising to support SDC's work including: the Winnipeg Run for Darfur organizers, the John Abbott College JACtivists, the Montreal Institute for Public Affairs , and students from the McGill University Schulich School of Music.

The Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) at Concordia University has also been very supportive of SDC's work in non-financial terms.

Financial support from member organizations
For the moment we do not collect contributions from SDC member organizations because we want to make Canadian Darfur advocacy accessible to and participatory for all.
